Glen Canyon Dam

This painting is called Glen Canyon Dam. This painting came from a photo. The sky is purple and dark blue with stars and a full moon. The dam looks like it's glowing at night. The bridge looks like it's glowing too. The canyon is black with gold lines going from top to bottom. The gold streaks in the canyon is the rocks. The river is purple with reflections of the night sky and the dam.  The squiggles are the reflections in the water. The dam is copper, gold, and bronze. The dam has interesting water portals and tunnels. This is one of my favorite painting's because it glows against the night sky. This painting took 3 sessions. This painting was finished on May 24, 2010. I used metallic paint and felt pen marker. This painting is loving and glowing. I did this painting because I love dams. The bottom of the dam is the powerhouse. The building's on the sides of the bottom of the canyon are the tunnels where water comes out of. The dots in the sky are the stars.  I love Glen Canyon Dam.
