I sketched a head of a zebra. I drew in all the stripes and also his horns. I then started to paint his stripes purple. The stripes are dark at the top to light at the bottom. It goes from super dark purple, dark purple, purple, light purple, and very light purple. It took a long time because the stripes were narrow to paint. I painted the stripes twice to make it intense. I painted the other stripes in different shades of yellow. It goes from dark tan yellow to the bottom to very light neon yellow at the top. The stripes also took a long time to paint because I had to paint it twice. The face was the hardest to paint. The colors went from light neon yellow, neon yellow, neon orange, yellow, and dark yellow. I painted the mane from dark yellow at the bottom to neon yellow at the top. I painted the ear purple. The left side is purple and the right side is light purple. The zebra's muzzle is also purple. The nostril and the lower lip is neon yellow. The outer eye is neon orange. The eyeball is purple. The pupil is neon yellow. The three horns are neon orange. I painted the horns four times. I painted the background green. It is very dark green at the top and green at bottom. I blended in dark green and green in the middle. I painted everything twice to make it intense. I repainted the horns from red orange at the base to yellow at the tip. I painted a light purple line under the zebra's muzzle to the chest. This painting is called Neon Zebra. This painting was finished on June 2, 2012. This painting stands out because the neon yellow stands out against the dark green background.
